THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (M) chairman Jose K Mani has assured Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that he will not leave the front. Jose K Mani had met the chief minister in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday. Jose K Mani informed the chief minister that the news of the change of front was only a media creation.
He said that he had not discussed the issue with any UDF leaders and
expressed confidence that he would be able to return to central Kerala including Kottayam in the assembly elections. There were talks that the Kerala Congress (M) would leave the Left Front in the wake of the setback in the local body elections. The CPM is of the view that it does not distrust the Kerala Congress (M).
